Carrollton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Starr's Mill Panthers with a sharp 12-4 victory. The Trojans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 11-1).
Maycie Guest tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Carrollton got a massive performance out of Arianna Harley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Tayarri Simmons was another key player, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carrollton will host North Paulding at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Starr's Mill, they will welcome McIntosh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
