Baseball Recap: University Prep Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. University Prep fell just short of McKinleyville by a score of 12-11. University Prep has struggled against McKinleyville recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Waylon Stripling was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Tyler White, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
