The Ysleta Indians were the 28-10 winner over the Hanks Knights when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The game between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Ysleta falling 35-19. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Michael Oliver was his usual excellent self, rushing for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Oliver is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. Kris Ramirez made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Ysleta's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Hanks, their win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4.
Ysleta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hanks will head out on the road to face off against Abilene at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Abilene presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hanks in Texas (Abilene is ranked 62nd, while Hanks is ranked 835th).
