The Kings Christian Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 66-8 victory over Alpaugh. Kings Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 25 points or more this season.
Alpaugh's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kimberly Elias, who scored four points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Elias posted two or more blocks.
The victory (which was Kings Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 10-4. As for Alpaugh, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Kings Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 5:45 p.m. Alpaugh will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kings Christian at 5:45 p.m. on January 30th.
