Mankato East's three-game streak of losses has finally come to an end. They were able to grind out a solid win over Faribault on Wednesday, winning 30-16.
Mankato East's victory brought them up to 3-5. This is the second loss in a row for Faribault and nudges their record down to 2-6.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Mankato East will be staying on the road on Tuesday, facing off against Waseca. As for Faribault, they will face off against Kasson-Mantorville.
