The Omaha Christian Academy Eagles lost against the Walthill Blujays back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Omaha Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 83-45 loss at the hands of Walthill. While losing is never fun, Omaha Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Walthill is ranked 38th).
Walthill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Parker, who scored 19 points. Adrian Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Omaha Christian Academy bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Walthill, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
After both having extra time off, Omaha Christian Academy and Heartland Christian will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another on January 4, 2024. Walthill will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wakefield at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
