In what's become a running theme this season, the Glendora Tartans gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ayala 60-25 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Glendora sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glendora to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylie Anderson, who scored 14 points along with five steals. Anderson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Brianna Gomez was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Glendora's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.2 points. As for Ayala, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.
Glendora won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oak Hills at 9:00 a.m. on January 20th. Oak Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Glendora is ranked 47th). As for Ayala, they will head out on the road to take on Colony at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
