Leland won the last time they faced Oak Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Leland Chargers' way against the Oak Grove Eagles as the Leland Chargers made off with a 12-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

The team relied heavily on Caden Canter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Brady Hernandez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Canter wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Leland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Grove only managed six hits.

Leland's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oak Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Leland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Willow Glen on the 1st. As for Oak Grove, they have also already played their next match, a 10-4 loss against Milpitas on the 1st.
