Valencia had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Kirtland Central Broncos to the tune of 48-6. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.

Leading Valencia to victory were Michael Storms III and Santino Mares. Storms III rushed for 240 yards while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, while Mares rushed for 111 yards on only 13 carries. Mares got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 63 yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valencia will head out to square off against Gadsden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kirtland Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Pagosa Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
