Truckee is 9-1 against Wooster since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will host the Colts at 4:00 p.m. Truckee will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Truckee's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Hug with a sharp 18-0 win. Considering the Wolverines have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Logan Arata was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, four runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Truckee: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Calvin Curtis, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Truckee hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hug struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Wooster came up short against North Valleys on Saturday, falling 14-8.
Chris Ballard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Noah Gonsalves was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Truckee's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Wooster, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Truckee hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Wooster struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Truckee beat Wooster 8-5 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
