There's no place like home for LaCrosse, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ness City Eagles 52-6. The high-scoring effort was just what the Leopards needed considering they were shut out in their previous   matchup.
LaCrosse's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Christian Rush led the charge by rushing for 79 yards and two  TDs on only five carries.  Hooper Castaneda also deserves a mention for his  punt return touchdown.
 Another reason for the win was LaCrosse's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Alexander Hiemstra. LaCrosse received some extra help from  Rush, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
The  win  got LaCrosse back to even at 4-4. As for Ness City,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Coming up, LaCrosse will face off against Hill City at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Leopards will need to watch out since the Ringnecks have now posted at least 31  points  in their last seven games. Ness City has  already played their next  contest (against Stockton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
