St. Bonaventure has gone a perfect 4-0 against Thacher recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Seraphs will welcome the Toads at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Thacher will take on a team with plenty of momentum: St. Bonaventure extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Seraphs' pitchers stepped up to hand Channel Islands a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Seraphs, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Cooper Masterson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Luc Beauchemin was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rowen Kaiser, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
St. Bonaventure was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Channel Islands only posted a batting average of .095.
Meanwhile, Thacher made easy work of Valley Christian Academy on Thursday and carried off a 9-1 win. The Toads haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
St. Bonaventure's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Thacher, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
St. Bonaventure beat Thacher 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Will the Seraphs repeat their success, or do the Toads have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
