The Shalom Christian Academy Flames will head out to challenge the Camp Hill Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Addison Adams was her usual excellent self, going 9 for 19 en route to 20 points and six steals. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Thomas, who posted four points and eight rebounds.
Shalom Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Camp Hill lost to Mount Calvary Christian on the road by a 49-32 margin on Saturday. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chargers 10-5 in the first quarter.
Shalom Christian Academy will need focus on slowing down Elle Shover, one of several Camp Hill players who made an impact when they last played. She earned seven points and four steals.
Camp Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Shalom Christian Academy, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Shalom Christian Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Camp Hill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.2 rebounds.
