Jasi Cole made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances. In other batting news, Sydney Goetzel was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Kamzee Kern was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
The win (which was University's 15th in a row) raised their record to 25-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for The Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.
