Colquitt County and Camden County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Colquitt County Packers will head out on the road to square off against the Camden County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Colquitt County beat Tift County 56-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Packers.

Colquitt County can attribute much of their success to Nacardia Robinson, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Amira Walters- Smith, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Robinson a new career-high in points. Amareyia Knighton was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.
Meanwhile, Camden County waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 win over the Vikings.
Camden County's win came from a few key players Colquitt County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mahliya Reeder, who earned 12 points and eight steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dasmine N Cooper, who scored three points along with nine boards and seven steals.
Camden County pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Colquitt County, their record is now 16-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Colquitt County has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Camden County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
