The Methacton Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 79-43 win over Boyertown on the road. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for Methacton this season.
Abby Arnold was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Avery Kenney was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Despite the defeat, Boyertown had strong showings from Madelyn Weaver, who scored 24 points, and Isla Greaves, who scored eight points. Greaves is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Methacton's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Boyertown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
Methacton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boyertown also has no future games currently scheduled.
