The Goodrich Martians will face off against the Bendle Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Goodrich 2.9, Bendle 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Friday, Goodrich earned a 5-1 victory over Madison. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Martians.
The team relied heavily on Kash Bohlen, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon King, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Goodrich was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Madison only posted a batting average of .154.
Meanwhile, Bendle got the win against Everest Collegiate on Friday by a conclusive 8-2. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.
Kaden Mattis and Brayden Wollard made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Mattis struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Wollard tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. At bat, Mattis went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Wollard went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Mattis has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 17 times he's played.
In other batting news, Bendle got a massive performance out of Landon Mattis, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Mattis is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 19 games he's played dating back to last season. Alex Rodriguez was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Bendle's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Goodrich, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-1.
