Galt had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 5-7 to make it five. They lost 29-0 to the Bradshaw Christian Pride. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pride this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 on Wednesday.
As for Bradshaw Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games.
For Bradshaw Christian's part, Max Wolf was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Wolf posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. He also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Ethan Quach looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Timmy Maung was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Kaleb Lum was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Galt is set to take on their familiar foe El Dorado at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bradshaw Christian will face off against rival Union Mine at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
