Columbine extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, bumping them up to 12-4. Everything went their way against the Ralston Valley Mustangs as they made off with a 19-6 victory. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.
Mason Abraham was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nina Vargas, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs.
Columbine was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
As for Ralston Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. They haven't had much luck with Columbine recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
On Ralston Valley's side, Amelia Buyrn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Caley Pfeifer, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
