Central City Value is 9-1 against Animo Bunche since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Central City Value Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Animo Bunche Stallions at 2:30 p.m. Central City Value will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Central City Value beat Annenberg 27-22.
Central City Value relied on the efforts of Elise Logan, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals, and Ruby Pacheco, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Pacheco is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played.
Meanwhile, Animo Bunche's game on Monday was all tied up 12-12 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 24-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Smidt Tech. Animo Bunche has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Central City Value has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Animo Bunche, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Central City Value beat Animo Bunche 33-22 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central City Value since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
