Churchland came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Phoebus Phantoms 70-39. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Truckers this season.

Churchland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Phoebus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Churchland will square off against Denbigh at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Churchland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Denbigh likes a good challenge. As for Phoebus, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
