Shenandoah Valley Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 28 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shenandoah Valley Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Browne, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Browne has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Patterson, who scored 16 points along with four blocks.
Meanwhile, Wakefield School came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past George C. Marshall 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Wakefield School has posted yet this season.
Shenandoah Valley Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Wakefield School, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
