The Central Dauphin Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Cumberland Valley Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Dauphin is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road.
Central Dauphin stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They put the hurt on Hempfield with a sharp 53-28 victory. Given Central Dauphin's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Black Knights are ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 56-43 win over Harrisburg. Cumberland Valley didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Lily Moul and Sienna Manns were among the main playmakers for Cumberland Valley as the former scored ten points and the latter scored 12 points along with six assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moul has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Basehore, who scored nine points.
Central Dauphin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Cumberland Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.
Everything went Central Dauphin's way against the Eagles when the teams last played back in January as the Rams made off with a 51-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central Dauphin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
