There's no place like home for Animo De La Hoya, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Animo Bunche Stallions on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-4 win. The game marked the Boxers' most dominant victory of the season.

Animo De La Hoya pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Animo Bunche, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Animo De La Hoya and Animo Bunche will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Boxers see the field they'll take on Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Animo Bunche, their break will end when they face Downtown Magnets at 2:00 p.m. on the 28th.
