The Memphis School of Excellence Eagles put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Wooddale 59-24 on the road. The team accrued 47 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
It was another big night for Tatianna Woods, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 10 steals. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmiya Thompson, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds.
Memphis School of Excellence's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Wooddale, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memphis School of Excellence will take on Sheffield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wooddale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingsbury at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kingsbury's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Wooddale's offense will have their work cut out for Wooddale.
