Paradise and Willows are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Honkers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Willows will be up against a hot Paradise team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Bobcats' pitcher stepped up to hand Colusa a 12-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Aydrik Stolz was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Paradise's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Paradise got a big performance out of Jack Kegg, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nate Meldrum, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Paradise hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Willows made easy work of Williams on Friday and carried off a 17-0 win. The Honkers haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Paradise picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Willows, the victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 4-7.
Paradise couldn't quite get it done against Willows when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 6-3. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
