The Millennium Falcons posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 53-11 victory over Turlock Christian at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Millennium.
Millennium found their leader in underclassman Sarah Digiallonardo, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 22 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nichole Clark, who scored seven points along with seven assists and three steals.
Millennium's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Turlock Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millennium will take on Venture Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Venture Academy is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Turlock Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Elliot Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Elliot Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Turlock Christian in California (Elliot Christian is ranked 607th, while Turlock Christian is ranked 1328th).
