Baseball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley was the 6-5 winner over Gregori when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Valley Hawks fell just short of the Gregori Jaguars by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Central Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaias Valdovinos, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Those three hits gave Valdovinos a new career-high.

Central Valley's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gregori, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Central Valley has already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Pacheco on the 11th. As for Gregori, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-5 victory against El Capitan on the 8th.
