Meanwhile, Western Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Avalon 48-42. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Western Christian in their matchups with Avalon: they've now lost four in a row.
San Gabriel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Western Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
