Everett has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Juniata Valley Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Juniata Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Everett, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Everett was able to grind out a solid win over Bedford, taking the game 53-44.
Cloe Price was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. She hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Colledge, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Juniata Valley ended up a good deal behind West Branch on Wednesday and lost 50-36. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Juniata Valley in their matchups with West Branch: they've now lost three in a row.
Juniata Valley's defeat came about despite a quality game from Kassidy Watson, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Watson has scored all season. Amelia Russell was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Everett has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Juniata Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Everett took their win against Juniata Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 56-36. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Juniata Valley's Anna Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
