Woodward Academy barely beat South Paulding the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The War Eagles put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 15-5 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won 17 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Woodward Academy, bringing their record up to 22-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for South Paulding, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-5.

As of now, neither Woodward Academy nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
