It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Arcata ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the St. Bernard's Crusaders 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 9th.

Arcata is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for St. Bernard's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.
