Twentynine Palms extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy. They put the hurt on Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy with a sharp 10-4 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Escandon, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Raul Ginez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The win (which was Twentynine Palms' third in a row) raised their record to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Twentynine Palms will face off against Academy for Academic Excellence at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
