The Kehillah Rams lost against the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The contest between Kehillah and Pacific Bay Christian wasn't particularly close, with Kehillah falling 48-29. Kehillah has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Kehillah still got an impressive performance from Ariella Sheppard, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 86.2% of Kehillah's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Pacific Bay Christian found their leader in underclassman Savanna Munds, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Trinity Overton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Kehillah has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Pacific Bay Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kehillah will take on Summit Shasta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Summit Shasta is coming into the game with seven straight victories at home, so Kehillah is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Design Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Design Tech will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pacific Bay Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
