Softball Recap: Fort Osage Wins Going Away Against Raytown

Fort Osage had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Raytown on Thursday. The Indians never let the Bluejays get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Fort Osage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Raytown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Osage will head out to take on Chrisman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Raytown, they will face off against Grain Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
