The Linden Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They suffered a rough 45-23 defeat at the hands of Chavez. Linden has not had much luck with Chavez recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Chavez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joyce Maykaela castro, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maykaela castro has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Amora Hendon, who scored two points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Linden dropped their record down to 1-21 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.8 points per game. As for Chavez, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.
