Football Recap: Park Christian/Synstelien Homeschool/Pettys Homeschool Skates Past Nevis with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Park Christian/Synstelien HomeSchool/Pettys HomeSchool). They claimed a resounding 54-22 victory over the Nevis Tigers. With Park Christian/Synstelien HomeSchool/Pettys HomeSchool ahead 48-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Jayden Hanson produced another solid performance throwing for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (164.3).

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Park Christian/Synstelien HomeSchool/Pettys HomeSchool, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Gavin Giese, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.5 points over those games. As for Nevis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coming up, Park Christian/Synstelien HomeSchool/Pettys HomeSchool will head out to challenge Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
