The Liberty Bison won the last time they faced the Citrus Hill Hawks, and things went their way  on Monday too. Liberty took down the Hawks 48-29. Liberty pushed the score to  37-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hawks cut but never quite recovered from.
 Liberty had a senior duo take command as  Alex Barajas  scored 14 points and  AJ Enguillado  scored 13 points.  Kelli Harris-Wellman was another key contributor,  scoring six points.
 Liberty is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Citrus Hill, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-13.
 Liberty will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Panthers at 5:30  p.m. Hopefully Perris focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 38 on Tuesday. Citrus Hill will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the Titans at 5:30  p.m.  on January 25th. Tahquitz presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Hawks in California (the Titans are ranked 555th, while the Hawks are ranked 1223rd).
