Basketball Recap: Livermore Sets Scoring Season-High Against Millennium

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livermore). They came out on top against the Millennium Falcons by a score of 39-32 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cowboys with their most commanding win of the season.

Livermore was led to victory by Angie Bhatia and Sofia Mahmood. Bhatia posted 12 points, while Mahmood put up ten points.

Millennium's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sarah Digiallonardo, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards, and Gianna Negrete, who had 11 points and five rebounds. Digiallonardo is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games she's played.

Livermore is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Millennium, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
