Miracle Hershey was her usual excellent self, going 8 of 14 on her way to 19 points and six steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Akaiyah Hershey, who posted six points and five steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian School of York). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Lehigh Christian Academy 53-10. With Christian School of York ahead 29-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Christian School of York's win came from a few key players New Covenant Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Charleigh Atkinson, who put up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Cally Carpenter, who posted ten points.
