Madera is 2-8 against Bullard since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Madera Coyotes will look to defend their home court against the Bullard Knights at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
The third road matchup was the charm for Madera, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past Porterville with a 49-45 win on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Bullard can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Justin Garza 69-34 at home. Given Bullard's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Justin Garza is ranked 623rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Madera is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Bullard, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
Things could have been worse for Madera, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to Bullard in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Madera avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
