The Woodrow Wilson Bruins will challenge the Cerritos Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Woodrow Wilson's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Cerritos has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Woodrow Wilson beat Lakewood 4-1. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Ben Howard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Woodrow Wilson is 5-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
