 Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Chester, the  victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
 Quincy will be playing at home against Portola at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Quincy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.1  runs per game  this season. As for Chester, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Redding Christian at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Redding Christian is coming into the  match with six straight  wins at home,  so Chester will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
