Folsom's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Lincoln Trojans 7-6. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Alex Blount looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Jacob Klapper was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Manny Orange also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Folsom kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.

With the win, Folsom broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Folsom will square off against Davis Sr. at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Davis Sr.'s pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Folsom's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln, they will challenge Turlock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
