Two dominant players in Madison Watts and Kiya Waters are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Having just played yesterday, the Leuzinger Olympians will jump right back in to play the Beaumont Cougars at 2:55 p.m. on Thursday. Beaumont took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Leuzinger, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Leuzinger was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Washington, taking the game 57-50.
Watts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points. The match was her 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dresha Moore, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Beaumont's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. Their rough 42-22 defeat to San Dimas might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Beaumont has scored all season.
Leuzinger's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Beaumont, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
