Fremont is 8-2 against Dorsey since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Fremont will head out on the road to challenge Dorsey at 3:00 p.m. Fremont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Fremont's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Port of Los Angeles by a score of 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pathfinders.

Jahdiel Roberts was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Roberts was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Roberts wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Karin Coranado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Joshua Gonzalez was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Dorsey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to Harbor Teacher.

Fremont pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Dorsey, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Fremont's way against Dorsey when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Fremont made off with a 15-3 victory. Does Fremont have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dorsey turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
