Datrice Mulsumo of Champlin Park ran for the longest rushing play in Northwest Suburban this season against Coon Rapids last week. Mulsumo's team topped the Cardinals as he sprinted for 76 yards on the play and finished with 297 in all.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Maple Grove beat Blaine 31-7,. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Andover's dynamic duo of Connor Wilkie and Chris Larson proved tough for Elk River to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wilkie threw for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns and Larson had 83 yards receiving. Justin Freyholtz helped Andover's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 55 yards.
The Huskies' dynamic duo of Wilkie and Larson proved to be unstoppable against the Elks, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Mulsumo was a beast in the backfield as Champlin Park defeated Coon Rapids.

Wilkie put up the best numbers in passing as Andover topped Elk River.
Larson was the best receiver in Northwest Suburban this week as Rich Wilkie's team topped Steve Hamilton's team.
The Huskies' Wilkie and Larson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wilkie has thrown for 1,180 yards this season, while Larson, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 26 catches for 732 yards. Kez Flomo from Totino-Grace leads the league in rushing with 571 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Osseo and Andover. The Orioles enters the contest ranked sixth in the state, while the Huskies ranks 10th.
The Cougars were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Tornadoes. Centennial came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
