They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Bulldogs. Given Oak Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Folsom is ranked 273rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Oak Ridge hit Folsom with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Elhom Khursand (2),
Samantha Liaty, and
Savanah Miller.
Oak Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-4 record this season. As for Folsom, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Oak Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Ridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight. Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
