Chaska added to the longest winning streak in Missota this week by beating Farmington, 56-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Hawks.
Red Wing fell to Academy of Holy Angels 61-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Chaska's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Justin Arnold threw for 249 and 4 touchdowns and Calvin Buesgens had 146 yards receiving. On the ground Arnold chipped in 150 yards.
He went 7-10 with 0 interception.
Arnold was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 150 yards as Lambert Brown's team bested the Tigers. Kolby Seiffert also contributed to the rushing game with 128 yards on the ground.
Chaska's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Arnold has thrown for 642 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Buesgens has 17 catches for 308 yards.
The Hawks are currently in first, while the Stars are in fifth.
Academy of Holy Angels led the league in scoring this week by notching 61 points on the Wingers.
