McAveney scored a full 54.1% of Foothill's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kaitlyn Wert was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Foothill has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Irvine, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
